The present paper focuses on the cross-linguistic corpus-based analysis of the degree adverbs: quite, rather, pretty and fairly and their correspondences in Lithuanian. The aim of the paper is to reveal the correspondences of these degree adverbs and classify them according to Johansson’s (2007) classification.The research questions are the following: What is the distribution correspondences of quite, rather, pretty and fairly in Lithuanian in English-Lithuanian Parallel Corpus of the Corpus of the Contemporary Lithuanian Langue? What are correspondences of these degree adverbs? Do they perform any other functions? Are there any regular syntactic patterns of translation?
